Remote Assistance

Small Offices / Home Offices (SOHO) are small enterprises which have little or no IT tech support team in-house. Companies face all sort of problems when adding new hardware, software or any other IT infrastructure in their business.

Proximity EOOD outsources the IT support desk for SOHOs. SOHOs need support services very sparsely, at times no IT support issues for months. Keeping an inhouse IT support team costs the SOHO money which is not a necessity. With Proximity EOOD Remote Assistance, the SOHO do no need any inhouse IT support staff. Instead, we install a remote support software (for example TeamViewer © or AnyDesk © for example) and give remote assistance to our clients. When an issue arises, the client opens a ticket with Proximity EOOD and our engineers log into the computers remotely and rectify any issues being faced by the client. This allows the client to view how the problem is fixed and can ensure that their data is not breached by our engineers. If needed, our engineers will call the client as well and walk them through the whole process.

The licensing of this process is done by the number of computers per SOHO and also can be licensed out in monthly support fee or per-incident support fee.
